Jewelry

Paul Miller initiated the use of a copper electroforming process whereby his jewelry and sculptures were metalized. His first jewelry pieces were fabricated of bronze and were small enough to be worn as pendants.  His view of the electroforming technique was that it can be applied for exact reproductions of the original object, more so than the lost-wax casting process. Small-scale welded objects that were worn as adornments ranged from elaborate hair combs with moving parts to pendants that were initially created as maquettes for his full-scale welded sculptures.
